Danback has met all my insurance needs and the staff is great.
I would probably have given them a 1-star, but I have to say I do really like State Farm as a company. Their clams department have been fantastic the few times we have had to deal with them. We have our homeowners, auto, and personal property (engagement/wedding ring) with State Farm. That being said, all our experiences with Karen Easterling and her staff have been negative. First of all, the only time they reach out to us is around our birthday every year trying to sell us life insurance, which we already have though our employer. The most annoying thing was that after hitting a deer awhile back, the only contact we had from Karen's office was not to check in on the clams process, but to try to sell us life insurance AGAIN. The few times I have actually gone into their office, the staff were rude. We have moved to South Austin and have twice tried to change to a new agent closer to our house and both times Karen has refused to let us do so. Again, I am a huge fan of State Farm and the way the deal with claims, but do yourself a favor and avoid Karen Easterling as an Agent. UPDATE 4/27/15 I am changing my review of Karen Easterling - State Farm from 2 to 1 star. I have been with State Farm Since I have been driving (14 years) and my parents have been with State Farm for over 20 years. This weekend we get a notice that State Farm is canceling our Auto Policy! This actually happened to my wife's parents awhile back and after calling their Agent they were able to renew their policy without a problem. Not the case with Karen. After calling Karen personally about the issue, she unapologetically told me tough s#$t, and that there was nothing she could do. Of the 4 claims since 2013 that they use as the basis for canceling our policy (2) were from another person hitting us at a red light, (1) was a comprehensive claim and only (1) was a collision where we were at fault. I asked if the fact that we are also paying $1200 a year in Homeowners insurance was at all a factor in them possibly reconsidering, and she said "I was welcome to take my business elsewhere." State Farm: I hope you are reading this!! BECAUSE OF KAREN EASTERLING, MY WIFE AND I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH STATE FARM AGAIN! Stay away from this agent. I still cannot believe that after two attempts she would not let us move to another agent. Well, Karen... I guess the solution is to take our Auto and Homeowners insurance away from State Farm for good. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM KAREN EASTERLING!
I have been with Karen since 1985 and she, as well as her staff, have been wonderful. They answer my questions politely and process my claims quickly. After 27 years I am knowedgeable about her and her practices and I find her to be courteous and professional. Keep up the good work!
I have only been with this State Farm office since moving to Austin 5 months ago, but they treat me like I've been their client for thirty years. They are kind, helpful and know the insurance business. I would recommend using them to everybody.
My family and I have been with Greg Pearson (and his son, Ken) for thirty years. They're everything you could want insurance agents to be. Great response to claims; excellent advice; anticipation of anything that might benefit us. Highly recommended!
