Known for its abundance of parks, open spaces and cultural activities, Mesa is the third largest city in Arizona.

Mesa was first inhabited by Hohokam Native Americans, who built intricate canal systems that are still in use today.

Two MLB teams call Mesa home during Spring Training season — the Oakland Athletics, who play at HoHoKam Park and the Chicago Cubs, who play at Sloan Park. Mesa also has numerous championship golf courses.
